We have developed a balanced route between wildlife and the benefits of civilization. You will see active volcanoes, you will even enter the crater of one of them, see the famous Kamchatka Geysers, bears or reindeer. You will also navigate the Bering Strait and the Pacific Ocean to see killer whales, whales or sea lions. Hot springs, waterfalls, frozen lava flows and fumaroles. The Koryak Indians, their dances, their sled dogs, and their culture.

In winter traveling it’s possible too with comfort and even with children. This program is designed so that you can discover some of the most beautiful and spectacular places on the peninsula without sacrificing comfort.

You can discover one of the areas with more snow on the planet, you will move by jeep, snowmobiles and sleds. You will see active volcanoes, you will even enter the crater of one of them, explore the Bering Strait and the Pacific Ocean, discover hot springs, fumaroles and waterfalls and frozen lava flows. Also will spend time with the Koryak Indians, their dances, their sled dogs, and their culture.

Itinerary

We begin the adventure!

Day 1: Arrival at Yelizovo Airport. Transfer to the city of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky (30 km). Accommodation at the hotel “Камчатский босс”. Discuss the travel program with our local guide.

Day 2: Today we wake up early, take breakfast and departure by jeep south towards the Mutnovsky volcano (2,323m). The driving time to the volcano depends on the condition of the road and takes at least 4 hours

A walking tour of about 2h will take us inside the crater of the volcano. We will cross fields of fumaroles and sulfur deposits. We will also see hot springs and a high temperature combined cycle plant. Lunch in the mountains. Return to the city in the afternoon.

Day 3: Breakfast and transfer to the Nikolayevka Heliport.

Helicopter tour to the Geysers Valley.

Register for a flight and departure to the Karymsky volcano (1468 m). Travel time is 1 hour and 10 minutes.

Flight around the active volcano Karymskaya Sopka. Then we will fly to the active volcano Maly Semyachik (1563 m), where we can photograph the acid lake located in the crater of the volcano.

We fly to the Geysers Valley. We will land and take a 1.5 to 2h tour to see some of its 200 geysers (the second largest concentration in the world) and many hot springs.

Then we will fly to the caldera of the Uzon volcano (5 to 10 minutes of flight) 1-hour walking tour through the eastern thermal field in the caldera of the Uzon volcano and its sludge boilers.

40-minute flight to the Nalychevo natural park, to bath in hot springs.

Return in 20 min flight to the Nikolaevka heliport. To finally return to rest at our hotel.

Day 4: Breakfast Pick up at the hotel and transfer to the port of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.

Departure by boat to visit the coast of the Bering Sea for 12 hours. We will visit the caves of Tikhaya Bay, fish and have lunch at sea, while visiting the Starichkov Islands, the “three brothers” (impressive rocks that arise from the middle of the sea) and we will be able to observe birds, seals… (the observation of killer whales and whales are not guaranteed).

The bravest can swim in the crystal clear waters of the ocean. Lunch (fish soup and fried fish) will be done on board the ship. We will also taste exquisite crabs. Return to the hotel.

Day 5: We move to the ethnographic camp, where we can learn how the nomadic tribes that have populated the peninsula lived for centuries. The camp is located in a forest, we will have stunning panoramic views of the Avachinsky and Koryaksky volcanoes.

We will discover their traditional music, dances and dresses, we can have a conversation in a traditional tent (tipi) around the fire about the culture and life of the Kamchatkan people, about their traditions and customs. We will also know the reindeer and sled dogs that participate in the famous dog sled race that crosses the entire peninsula from South to North every winter.

Typical lunch of the Koriak Indians (deer shurpa, baked red fish with potatoes, Koryak cakes, condensed milk with berries, herbal tea).

In the afternoon visit the black volcanic sand beach of Halaktyr. Visit the surf camp, the most daring can bath in the cold waters of the Pacific Ocean. Back to the hotel.

Day 6: Jeep departure to the neck of the Koryak-Avacha volcano group. The access time to the volcano depends on the condition of the road and takes at least 2 hours.

Excursion to Mount Camel. The path is easy and we will ascend to the top from where we will have panoramic views of the two giant volcanoes located one on each side of the top (Koryasksky 3,456m and Avachinsky 2,741m), the valley, the Avacha Bay, the Pacific Ocean and the Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky city;

Reindeer observation, which can be fed by hand with nuts and apples. Return to the city.

Day 7: Breakfast, pick up at the hotel and transfer to the fish market of Elizovo.
Airport transfer.

Day 1: Arrival at Yelizovo Airport. Transfer to the city of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky (30 km). Accommodation at the Dolce Vita hotel. Explanation of the travel program with our local guide.

Day 2: Departure by jeep at the foot of the valley of the Koryak-Avacha volcano group. Here we will be picked up on snowmobiles to continue climbing the entire valley to the neck between the two great volcanoes. The access time to the volcano depends on the condition of the road and takes at least 2 hours.

We can move with snowmobiles to Mount Camel or along the slopes of the Avachinsky Volcano. We will have panoramic views of the two giant volcanoes located one on each side of the top of the Camel (Koryasksky 3,456m and Avachinsky 2,741m), the valley, the Avacha Bay, the Pacific Ocean and the city of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky;

Day 3: We will travel to the ethnographic camp, depending on the weather conditions the last part will be done on snowmobiles, dog sledding or Jeep. We will be able to know how the nomadic tribes that have populated the peninsula lived for centuries. The camp is located in a forest, we will have stunning panoramic views of the Avachinsky and Koryaksky volcanoes.

Day 4: In the morning we will be picked up and drive to Cape Mayachny. These are spectacular cliffs and the location of the Tree Brothers (impressive rocks that arise from the middle of the sea).

Lunch and return to the city of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.

In the afternoon, after picking up our things we will move to the mountain base located in the “Snow Valley”. We can enjoy a thermal water pool while preparing an exquisite dinner.

Day 5: After breakfast we will make a snowmobile trip to the Mutnovsky volcano (2,322m). The access time to the volcano depends on the road conditions, but it will take us about 2h.

A walking tour of about 2h will take us inside the crater of the volcano. We will cross fields of fumaroles and sulfur deposits. We will also see hot springs and a high temperature combined cycle plant. Lunch in the mountains.

Return to “Snow Valley” to enjoy its hot springs and dinner.

Day 6: Breakfast and departure on snowmobiles to Sopka Hot, where we can practice skiing and snowboarding.

Return to the hotel for lunch and pick up things.

In the afternoon we will travel by jeep or snowmobile (depending on the conditions) to the “Bel-Kam-Tour” recreation center located in Paratunka. Dinner and hot springs

Day 7: Breakfast, pick up at the hotel and transfer to the fish market of Elizovo. Airport transfer.
