Ice climbing trip with guide in Annapurna icefalls, Nepal
At the base of the north face of the Annapurnas there are countless ice waterfalls of all difficulties, we will find our level without any difficulty. Many of them are waiting for their first ascent.
To get to these waterfalls we don’t need to organize a large expedition. Some are a quarter of an hour from our lodge and the furthest are about four hours away. In most of the waterfalls we move through heights of between three thousand and four thousand meters, so we will not have acclimatization problems either.
This program is designed to accompany and guide six people (3 ropes) who will carry out their activity autonomously. The guide will accompany and advise the different ropes, which at all times will be controlled by our guide and our Nepalese porters.
We begin the adventure!
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu by all members of the expedition.
From the airport we will be transferred directly to Besishahar by car.
Day 2: Off-road trip from Besishahar to Hongde / Manang through the low and high valleys of the north face of Annapurna.
Days 3 to 6: From here we can access a large number of ice waterfalls. Of all the difficulties and some of them virgin. We will be able to climb without problems at a height of about three thousand meters to others that are at five thousand. Some with an approximate of a quarter of an hour and others at several hours from the lodge. Thus, the difficulties are for everyone and we can find our level without problem.
